Allie Armstrong

Allie Armstrong joined Wilburforce in 2024 as a Grants Administrator. She helps manage the administration of Wilburforce’s grantmaking by ensuring our grantee partners can confidently navigate the grant application process. Hailing from Chicago, Allie has worked in the educational nonprofit and philanthropic sector for almost ten years with a focus on trust-based and equitable grantmaking practices. She has a B.A. in Sociology from Kenyon College and an A.A.S. in Veterinary Medical Technology from Joliet Junior College. Allie has a passion for animals and worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician for over 10 years before transitioning into the nonprofit sector. In her free time, Allie loves spending as much time as possible with her lab mix, Duncan, and enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, and baking pies.
