Jim Orr

Jim joined the Wilburforce Board in 2017. He is a conservationist since childhood, having been born and raised in a National Park Service family.  Jim earned a Bachelor’s of Music and a Master’s of Education Administration from Washington State University, and worked as a teacher for 36 years with the Richland (WA) School District.  He also devoted 38 years to a career as a collegiate and scholastic volleyball referee and rules clinician.  Jim jokes that there is nothing quite like having eight thousand people yell at you at the same time. Jim is Rose Letwin’s husband.  They met in 2010 and married in 2012.  When away from Wilburforce, they enjoy traveling and gardening.
